INJURIES
Accidents and injuries can be serious. They’re not just physical traumas. They’re emotional traumas.
I’ve only been really sick once. I was lucky and was treated by doctors and their staffs who not only knew what they were doing, but also wanted me to get better. I wasn’t just another number to process; just another body on a conveyor belt to turn a wrench on. I was someone who needed their help and they gave it to me. It worked and I owe them a lot. It also focused me on what I was going to make sure that I kept doing when I got well. I was going to make sure that I treated anyone whom I represented, as I would want to be treated. That’s what I’ve done, and what I will continue to do.

I am Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. This means that I specialize in representing people who have been injured. To become and remain Board Certified, among other requirements, I must devote a required percentage of practice to Personal Injury Trial matters, pass a comprehensive written exam, be evaluated by fellow lawyers and judges, and take about 40 % more continuing legal education courses per year than a non-Board-Certified attorney. There are 21 Board Certification specialty areas (Personal Injury Trial, Family Law, Tax Law, etc.). Less than 10% of Texas attorneys are Board Certified. Go to www.tbls.org for more information.
